Online Shopping With A "Card"?

Ok, I know that you can shop online with a specific gift card... Like if I got a Bath and Body works card I can go to the bath and body works web site and order what I want. What I want to know, is what about sites that do not offer gift cards that I want to order but stuff off of I DO NOT WANT OR HAVE A CREDIT CARD! Is there some sort of universal pre paid card that I can use on ANY website?? Thanks!!!

Debit cards work fine as long as they carry a Visa, MasterCard, etc seal.|||Uh, paypal....but that kinda needs a credit card. so i dont%26#039; think so. but then again, i really dont%26#039; understand what you%26#039;re saying.|||You could go to your bank and have it set up where you can have a debit card set-up for you, it will have VISA on it or whatever your bank has such as mastercard or whatever and it will be accepted anywhere that credit card is accepted except you won%26#039;t have to worry about the interest or paying it on time because it is directly taken out of your account, that may work at least. Also you could look into pre-paid credit cards at you bank, I know a lot of banks do that now because sometimes you don%26#039;t know where a person likes to shop and you get them that so they could spend it anywhere, the are especially popular during the holidays.|||I have 1 from MasterCard- it works great. They usually come with a activation fee and most charge other fees for checking the account balance and such. Look around in your area, malls, drugstores, grocery stores and places like Wal-mart all carry them.

I%26#039;ve used them before but am careful where I purchase them. The cheapest I%26#039;ve seen is a mall gift card with a Visa logo. They charge 2 dollars to load the card and since it has the visa logo, you pretty much can use it anywhere. Walmarts has a one time loading fee of around 9 dollars and then they charge a few for checking your remaining balance and such. If you load a certain amount when you cash your check in their store they wave the fee.

Besure to read all the fine print on the back of the card you are considering purchasing and ask if they have a pamplet explaining fees.
