Why isn't their a law of Banning Waste full Paper Ad's in the Mail?

Why isn%26#039;t their a law in the U.S. or even world banning waste trees for unused ad%26#039;s. Ad%26#039;s such has sales, useless credit card offers. These ad%26#039;s that come three times a week bundled all end up in the trash. Why doesn%26#039;t anyone do anything to stop wasting trees?

Who gets to decide what gets to be printed? Who gets to enforce it? How much power do they have? How do we control them? Study the history of freedom.|||It is wasteful and I feel sorry for the postal person. Try www.stopjunkmail.com|||it is a free country, but there should be.|||They can advertise how they choose if they have the means to do it. We could vote to ban TV ads also in order to save energy, or ban internet use on Sat. night in order to save energy... etc. But someone will be making less money because of it so they certainly won%26#039;t do it themselves. And, well, I just stumbled upon the answer: A person like you needs to raise awareness, create a following, and then have some local candidate support you. Then, you vote him into office. He proposes a bill or legislation. That%26#039;s how it gets done.
