Do you still get rewards from credit cards if you pay them BEFORE your statement?

Like I want to buy something expensive that is $2000

I have a card that offers 3% (My limit is 10k)

If I buy this item and go home and pay it off, will I still get my 3%?

you should still get it. But the best person to answer the question would be somebody who works at whatever bank issued the rewards credit card.
